DLA Frequently Asked Questions

What can I customize on each product?

The customization options are described at the bottom of each of the product pages. If you have questions or a particular customization in mind that is not mentioned, please reach out to Loren Squares to discuss. By selecting “Online Design,” you can go to the design page where you can view what areas you can customize yourself.

What if a Donate Life State Team wants to customize and its URL is longer than 24 characters?

The customer should try eliminating the “www.” in front of the web address if that is an option. If this does not help, we recommend that you select the “DLA Design” option to have Donate Life America’s designer lay out the information for you for a custom fee.

What type of logo files do you recommend when using the design online option?

We recommend a CMYK eps logo file with a transparent background. For the rack cards and posters, it is important to remember that the logos will appear on a black background. If you need help creating a Donate Life state logo with the state name in white and the registration mark lowered and in blue or white, please contact Loren Squares at lsquares@donatelife.net or 804-377-3582.

How can I get a PDF file of my design for my team to review and approve?

If you are working with Donate Life America on a custom product, they will provide you with a low resolution PDF through email for you to approve and show to your team. Unfortunately, if designing the product yourself online, you cannot download a PDF of your design before placing your order. We recommend two different alternatives: Take a screenshot of your product or the specific panels with customizations while on the design page; or save the custom product and provide your team with your user information so they can login and view it themselves. Once you have submitted your order, you can go to “My Jobs” in the top navigation to download a low resolution PDF of the job for your files.

What if I want to order more than 60,000 brochures; 80,000 rack cards; 35,000 posters? It isn’t generating a price and it’s asking me to call or email for pricing.

Conquest Graphics has set the pricing cap for customers at $5,000, and requests that you contact them to discuss payment options if the quantity you want calculates to more than that. You are welcome to order more than the capped quantity!

What is the turnaround time?

Turnaround is the actual time it takes from when you approve your proof to when the job is ready for delivery. Conquest Graphics is not responsible for production delays caused by errors in customer-supplied files. Please note that shipping time and USPS delivery time are not included in the overall turnaround time, as these are conditions we cannot directly control.

I don’t want to pay with credit card. What are my other options?

If your order total is $250 or less, you must pay by credit card at the time of checkout. If your order total is over $250, the default payment type is Net 30 Terms (Payment After Delivery) and a Conquest Graphics Invoice will be emailed to you once the job has shipped. You still have the option to pay with credit card for purchases over $250 if you prefer. Please contact Loren Squares if you have questions about payment options.

How do I place a reorder for a custom product?

You can easily do this without having to re-design the product! Go to “Your Jobs” found in the “Your Account” dropdown menu at the top right corner of the DLA Print Shop webpage. Either search for or located your old job from the list, and select the “Re-Order” link beside it. Here, you can adjust the reorder quantity and update your design online (if that is the method you originally used when you ordered the product). Add it to your cart and proceed to checkout as usual.

Can I still order my old customized Empowering Testimonial brochure? Are there still old brochures in Spanish, Chinese and Vietnamese? Will the new brochures be available in those languages?

The Point of View Campaign brochure has replaced the following Empowering Testimonial Campaign brochures: general, African American brochure and Asian Pacific Islander. DLA is happy to work with you to customize the new Point of View brochure to your liking. We have included the option to add two additional panels to allow for items you may have included on your old custom brochure: a registration form, mailer panel, local images and stories, and/or more information about your state registry and organization.

At this time, we do not plan to create a new Tissue or Spanish Tissue brochure, so DLA will still accept orders for these as we have done so in the past. DLA will also take orders for the 2 panel API languages brochures (Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Tagalog), as there are no plans to replace these at this time.
